To summarize Olly took a mk1 (53 plate) touran FSI and upgraded to full S3 engine / box / ecu / running gear inc quattro / subframes etc, then upgraded engine components coupled with a TTE420 brand new hybrid turbo to make the above figures (more to be had from this set up in the region of 420/420) Along with this, brakes, arbs, suspension etc also was upgraded.
The outside has been updated with full 2011 touran front end with all new genuine bolts etc, genuine vw skirts and rear valance, 2011 touran door mirrors, brand new door strips and window rubbers along with replacement rear bumper and excellently finished fresh paint work and set of 5 genuine helios VW 19” alloys
Upgrades from the original touran spec include; auto lights with come home / leave home function, vw alarm/ immo with motion sensors and siren with USA tone, auto wipers, dual zone climate control, mfd2 stereo, roll down windows on key and cruise control
The interior has had a few upgrades too including retrimmed GTI steering wheel, Golf GTI (mk5) clocks and pedals, TTRS gearknob, chrome tip window switches, 2011 touran vents, MFD2 dvd stereo, leather handbrake, footwell lights, touran sport leather seats
Every effort has been made to make this car look and feel factory fit, with the best parts used and very well put together, it’s hard to put a price on such a thing being so unique but I have arrived at this figure which is a lot less than it has cost me to build (inc free labour) just parts alone
This is a get in and drive vehicle, no issues, no warning lights, EVERYTHING works as it should and is a joy to own, Olly would like to keep it but needs cash for the next project so unfortunately this has to go.
Shell is on 115k 1 previous owner with history, 12 months MOT, engine was low (60k ish) miles when fitted including new cambelt / aux belt, water pump, everything else was also sourced from low mileage donors or replaced with new, there is nothing left of the underside that is original touran
