Tinting the S4. Help needed...

I am going to have the dealership tint the windows for me prior to delivery. However, I am at a loss at what levels work well with this car.

They suggest 35% tint all around (minus the front windshield as it's illegal here).

Has anyone tinted their cars yet or planning on it? If so, what percentages would you suggest?

I thought maybe 35% for the front doors and 20% for the rear doors and rear window.

I had 15% rears nothing on the fronts as in uk it's illegal to a limit and basically the tints you are allowed on front hardly look like they had been done so I didn't bother. I thought about going 5% (limo) but I didn't like when I saw the samples.

Yeah we just had a law passed in Ontario that any tint on the front driver and passenger windows must let in 70% of light. at that point, tinting them is pointless I think. I was thinking 20% for the rear... how are the 15% for night driving? any issues?

Totally fine from what I've done so far I have no issues but I am glad I didn't go 5% that I was originally going to go for

Hi,
could you let me know if these tints are the same level as Audi OEM ? as i have a S4 on order and just want to get the Rear 3 Windows done.

I believe that Audi OEM is 20% but don't quote me on that!

For sure it's as closer a to 20%. Being Laminated glass or pigmented Glass it will range between (VLT) 15%-26%
