Timing belt change Tdi 170

I have just put a deposit down on a 56 plate tdi 170 The timing belt does however need changed as its at 64K. I was wondering how much people were paying for this job, I will probably take it to a VAG specialist (not main dealer) just looking to get an idea on price before I ring up.

Also what is required, timing belt kit, waterpump as well, is there anything else.

Ive been quoted £295 from a specialist for my 140 version, i assume the 170 will be the same

Sorry that price includes waterpump but not vat. Audi are charging £440 for timing belt change exc waterpump

£360 then, I was budgetting £300 but I'll get some quotes tommorrow.
