Hi all now my 190 tfsi 2018 is 2 years old im thinking about a remap. ive been quoted 260 hp and 400nm from the standard 190 hp and 320 nm.

im more interested it the extra torque has anyone had a remap on this engine and is the extra hp and nm noticeable, Cheers Guys and Gals. :thumbs up:

Any drive by wire throttle delay/lag ?
Hi yes always had the delay since new even booked it in for a check about it but no fault found. Had a 190 tdi a6 2016 before this and that had no lag. Just learned to live with it.

Was wondering if the A4B9 TDi`s had the lag or if it was just the petrol`s.

You will certainly notice an extra 25% in both torque and power. All a sprint booster does is alter the pedal map so a small input on the throttle pedal generates a large output signal to the ECU like you have just stamped on the throttle pedal. It doesn't actually increase power or torque at all.
If you are anywhere near Manchester I can strongly recommend Rick at Unicorn Motor Developments. He is a Forum sponsor and one of the best VAG tuners in the country.

Thanks to a flawed 2007 white paper this can be the misunderstood viewpoint .

They only work on a car with throttle delay and actually gets the torque going earlier and in some instances the butt dyno feels more of a result than a remap .

Take it off and it's completely untraceable .
