Symphony 2 to Symphony 2+ Help

Looking to charge these units over for a friend.
Its a 2005 A3 with the Symphony 2 6 cd headunit.

Want to fit the 2+, had bought some adapters, but still doesnt work. Gets some inital cd mech sounds, then nothing.
Straight off, i can see loom and old unit has 2 pins on black iso plug, new unit has 3.

The newer 2+ units need an extra 12v supply to pin D16 mate on the quadlock fella, so link 15 & 16 together, don't forget antenna system will be different.

Not looked, but assume the plug is labelled like usual?

He has the aerial adaptor, think it was double fakra of the top of my head.

You have to join the two fakra HF connections of the new radio to the existing ISO HF connector, do not connect the fakra ZF connector at all. If you don't the antenna will cut out. So you need a sort of Y adaptor from the radio to the antenna.

also having issues with the unit. NHN do you have to add in an extra wire myself or can i pull one out from one of the other plugs and put it into another plug?
