stuttering

my 2001 1.8t seems to stutter when its first started up for about 1/4 mile and then its fine what could be causing this. the throttle body and the maf was cleaned last week and that didnt sort it so im not sure what else to do.i also fitted a cai last week. would it make much difference if i uprated the boost hoses im getting it remapped soon anyways so would it be worth doing know.
any help would be great

both my old 1.8T and S3 do this...... I assumed it was just cos it was getting warmed up?

Yup, seems like a trait of the 1.8T when warming up.
