Spraying chrome trim

Hi.
Has anyone removed the chrome trim around the doors to spray/wrap it black?
Would like to have mine black as chrome and white do not go together imo.

Just wondering how to remove it to spray it oris it even possible?

From what I've read it's a hell of a lot of work to remove the trims and all the ones I've seen so far have been wrapped in-situ.

Wrapper had it for half a day.

If I remember it was about £180. He also wrapped the lower half of the mirrors (I put carbon caps on the top half)

Sprayed it.

4 coats of etch primer
4 coats of Matt black
