Service coming up...high mileage diesel..what to consider

Hi all,

So as the title suggests, the a4 (2.0tdi) is coming to its service and is currently on 153000 miles. Its the first diesel i've owned and so wondering what outstanding things should be included in the service.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Depends if you are going for full or major service.

Generally you’d expect following replaced for a major service (but don’t know what special things could be neeeded at 150k. I guess it will be on its third cambelt by now?

Oil + filter
Air filter
Fuel filter
Pollen filter

Thanks Jon, Filters will be changed, was thinking more about glow plugs, leads or anything else "diesel" related.

I'd be getting the Cam belt done at that mileage, if it hasn't been done lately, may aswell get the water pump done at the same time. Glow plugs?
Maybe gearbox oil change too.
