S4 belt problem

Hi

New to the forum and s4 ownership. I have a question about replacing the super charger belt on my s4 b8 avant. Got quoted £40 for the part and 5 hours labour from glasgow Audi (£500) .... surely it doesn’t take 5 hours

Any advice or thoughts?

To be honest, I think that you need to connect with a good VW Group Indie locally, luckily for you there is one linked to this forum.

I too feel the need to replace the supercharger belt as my car is almost 8 years old but only 24K miles, and I am working out what I need to buy and how to complete this and the auxiliary belt change along with the tensioners.

Edit:- I'm sure that the £500 will end up being closer to £600 with lots of advisories as that is how these bandits make money.
