Had a little update today from them. They’ve had the car two weeks today and it’s only just gone into the workshop. They said they are hoping to get it back for me on the 16th of this month, only being that they get the parts in on Monday!

Yeah it is and it isn’t if you know what I mean. Doesn’t look too bad on first view but there are a fair few bits that need repairing and replacing. Or bust all the radiator/intercooler. Crumpled the front of the bonnet lid. Cracked all grilles and inserts and moved the front bumper out a line.

The reason it bust the radiator is because it crumpled the crash bar into it.

It's on the bottom of the tailgate in the middle. She was in a Peugeot 106
They ended up putting on a new tailgate and bumper!

I know you want your car back to perfect, but I’m afraid your repairer was taking the p!ss by fitting a new tailgate and bumper....it’s no wonder our insurance premiums keep going up!!

Tailgate originally was down for repair but after accessing it from behind they couldn't get in to push it out so yeah it had to be replaced. I told them I didn't want filler everywhere.
Bumper yes maybe?...they felt it had been misshapen and decided to replace it at the same time. Definitely no taking the pee going on.
Its claims management companies and people thinking they can milk the whiplash claims etc. that have the bigger affect

So have had this RSQ3 about 6 months and one outstanding task has been to clean the inner surfaces of the alloys - finally got round to it today:

Oh yes! I’m intrigued as to how it will look and even more so, how it sounds. Did they say it will make much of a difference to noise?

Get a Cete AVC...all your lovely audible driving soundtrack desires answered instantly....the 5 cylinder howl in town brings out the child in me I'm afraid.

two exit pipes would be good if they were pushed to the absolute corners of rear apron like all the other RS vehicles - on an RSQ3 they are too close together so just ends up looking weird...IMHO...which of course counts for nothing :whistle2:

Have a look here as an example...https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-RSQ...t-Conversion-Fitting-Birmingham-/113742391768

Cosmic, I was going to buy a RSQ3 a year ago but the one back pipe put me off, So I bought a AMG merc, Glad really because this time looking for a car I found my RSQ3 performance, Did a bit of googling Re the one exit pipe, Found a trusted firm to do the job, Bought the car, Love it, And for me 2 rear exit pipes will make it more balanced, Totally each to there own, Both pipes will be 6 1\2" So bigger than the one on now , And to ME it will look and sound better, Im keeping the valve, Looking forward to getting it done. Then the brake pads as yours.

I think those Cete valve controllers are very pricey for what you actually get.

Good thing about them, You can remove and sell, If wanted, Good to have the extra noise at a push of a button. I just want 2 pipes, otherwise Id buy one.

Good man, absolute no brainer on an RSQ3 when the standard discs have a 2mm wear limit (so 1mm of each face) and they are around £500 a pair, add the lack of wear (just polishes - see pics above, fitted at 15k miles, the disc already had a lip), noticeably increased brake performance and low dust once bedded in - not much not to like.

Definitely need to do this too!! Is it better to go for the red stuff pads or yellow? My discs have a slight lip too and I’m sure they’ll be perfect with some new pads like the EBC ones!

There is that but it doesn’t make a difference to the decibels and sound if you know what I mean. It needs changing and opening up more with aftermarket bits if you ask me!!
