Look in the classified for this. Just took it out of my "old" RS4 and there is not room in the new one (which I got today) because of the huge battery in the space where it would have gone.....
You are absolutely right, no room at all but, at least got the spar for free. When I 1st bought the car I realized later that there is no spar, so I went back to the dealer and made a mess over there saying that I sales man didnt tell me about it ...got it for free end of story.
