RS3 - Transfer Box Problem

Hi i need help guys my car’s transfer box is gone think the bearings inside have broken and are making a humming sound I purchased a transfer box on eBay for £1000 the guy said it will fit my rs3 as it’s come of a 2017 rs3 saloon same as my so i purchased took the car to the garage so when they tried fitting the transfer box there was a little different to the boxes my boxes is all round the 1 I’ve purchased has 3 screws that fit in there i don’t have that on my car the turning thing is different also what do i do?

The 3 pointed Flange is where the prop (Carden shaft) bolts to it needs to be removed and put on your replacement Diff, it's held on by a circlip in that groove.

Right so the transfer box I’ve got is the correct 1? i just have to take the 3 pointed flange and then it will fit in the prop shaft bar? If you look at the 2 boxes you see the top jews the other don’t have the spinning Jews it’s smooth I’m confused there

It's clearly not the same part so send it back. The item you have is 0CP409053D which comes back as being used on an RSQ3 .
