Rocker cover gasket - seal advice please

Hi, I am about to replace my rocker cover gaskets (2.4 V6), I have the gaskets on the way but does anyone have any recommendations for gasket seal ie the flexible stuff ? There are some 90 degree corners so I have been advised to use a good seal to make sure there are no gaps.

I fitted a new gasket yesterday and i just popped in on the rocker cover (it has grooves for it to run in) rubbed a little bit oil around the bottom of the seal and tightened the rocker cover back on one side to the other to tighten it down evenly and i have no leakes

Cheers Ollie. the reason I asked really was the Audi official install guide specifically states adding gasket sealant in certain spots ie on the 90 degree areas.
