Looks very nice indeed!

Assuming you've experienced no problems with the intake? Have seen some recent posts stating that the cars have been misbehaving when the REVO has been installed...

Is your car already mapped?

I've only had it on since today so still early days yet, but I took it for a good drive earlier and she run perfectly. I'll be honest and say I do think the build quality of the heat shield brackets could be improved, as the holes for mine were off centre, but apart from that I'm happy with it!
It's standard apart from the intake at the moment, but I do intend on having it mapped, I'm swaying towards R-tech as they seem to specialise with these engines

Looking good!
I have my bits in the garage for installation tomorrow. Not a Revo intake but hopefully my kit will look good with the TTS cover.
I already have APR 1+ which is optimised to work with an intake. Hopefully everything will work properly! I am going to disconnect the battery to make it relearn straight away rather than adapt over a bit of time.

It's not a bad job if you have the right tools! The bottom clip on the rear intake pipe was an absolute pain in the ***!!! would of been a lot easier if I had some long nose pliers, but I got there in the end! Made it all worth while when I heard to turbo spool sound

I have had a practise already at getting off the nasty clip! A few weeks ago, I bought a Samco hose to connect the standard airbox to the turbo inlet and so had to remove the original ribbed pipe.
I used something like this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BERGEN-Re...705242?hash=item2355f0e21a:g:7xkAAOSwLVZVvcxu

All went well with the removal but the pipe was poor in that it did not fit!! A better design needed. I gave feedback back to Samco who offered to make me something better. I declined and then set about CAI research.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow's installation!

Fitted my revo intake today! Love the look of it and it sounds good too. I must admit I did expect it to sound louder though!
Sounds like it could suck a small child through the grill, but don't get a very loud spool noise?? Any ideas??

My mate fitted mine and he had a tool similar to that and it made it so much easier!

Just installed one to my Scirocco R - need to modify the engine cover a bit to suit more to VW but the Audi rings have already been removed and smoothed

Looks decent mate, it tidy's up the engine bay nicely, I will look to get one myself once I have the funds.

In regards to the recent thread where they were having issues with the intake, it was more than likely due to the fact that the S3 was remapped with the standard intake system and then the garage just slapped on a new CAI kit without updating the map, therefore the ECU was trying to run using old parameters but with new hardware which has increased air flow etc. I've had my Revo CAI just shy of two months now and have had no problems whatsoever at all as it was installed and then remapped by a competent garage (VAS Motion a VAG specialist). You think how many of these are sold with no issues from owners compared to the very minute few that do, there's a reason for it..

Car looks much better with that TTS Engine cover!

Glad I could be of service! :rockwoot:
