I was hoping someone with an OEM R8 reverse camera module + RNSE could help with my retrofit. I have it all wired up, and after turning the ignition on it works for a few mins, before then stopping working and throwing the fault codes relating to 'Audio / Video Input 1 '. Sometimes 'implausible signal'.
Since it initially works, the wiring must be correct, and there are (almost) no fault codes, and if I leave the car locked for a while to power everything down, it will work again.
The reason I say 'almost' is because I have yet to run the calibration. I don't know if not being calibrated is enough to stop the feed after a few mins?
I am also currently not using the module to power the camera, I am powering it externally, but this gives no fault codes.
Finally, I have tested with my aftermarket camera as well as currently a small media converer which is outputting a static test image.
