Retro fitting aux 2010 S3 SB

Hi there.

I have a 2010 Black Edition S3, in my previous S3 i had a aux connection in the little slot by the hand brake. Unfortunately my new one didn't come with one.

Im fed up trying to get the AMI working off my iPhone 6 plus, i went into audi and bought the lightening lead for my car got home and tried it and it says unable to connect or something (if anyone knows what i need to do to connect my phone that would be great!)

I was just wondering how much retro fitting an AUX point would cost?

Just do what i did. I've got an old ipod that has been through the washine machine a few times. None of the buttons work on it but I've got 16gig of music on it which i connect via the ami.it connects fine. You can get them pretty cheap on ebay

Which collar of cable are you using to connect your iPhone?

My lightning 5S works fine using sa 30-8pin connector through the normal 30pin ami/iPod usb lead.

Im not to sure mate, i think maybe green? When i plug the phone in it just comes up with an error message
