rear wheel bearing?

Appologies if theres already a thred on how to do this but u i couldnt find one anywhere... Is there a uide on how to do this? I am quite competant at most things and cant be to hard, the price certanly shocked me 55 quid compared to 26 for the front?

According to the Haynes manual (Yes, I have one... ) the outer races form part of the rear hub so replaced as a complete unit hence the price difference...

Note this is for a FWD A3 and not quattros...

Haynes suggests you will need a pullet to remove the old hub and bearing race from the stub axle...

cheers mine is a fwd, got presses ect at work... Just sounds a bit chewy getting old one off..
