I think they all have a filter, just that on certain generations audi didn’t deem that the filter need led to be changed

Right ok might chuck it in a audi specialist and see if they know if it needs to be done or not a mate has a 2009 and said he hasn’t got a filter on his S3 8P

Haldex 2 and 4 systems both have filters.
For peace of mind, get it changed at the same time or ASAP. Better safe than sorry.

This is what I’m saying. Audi say it doesn’t have a filter, but it does. Definitely.

I’d be guessing it’s Gen4. Give Auto Fault Finder a call and they’ll be able to confirm.

That's great news.
Make a note of it in your service book so you have a record and try and get any other fluids changed that may need doing so you know it's as fresh as it can be right now, and have a good record of when they were all done (that's what I did, for peace of mind).
