Race chip

Hi,

I am taking delivery of my new S3 on 1st Sept, Don't really want to go down the route of modifying, however, a friend of mine got his new RS3 in June & has now fitted the Race Chip Ultimate with phone app (£500 i think he paid). he says it is ****** awesome, what are your thoughts, good, bad, should i steer clear???

Don't get drawn in by the engine warranty that comes with race chip. it's worthless, so many exclusions and conditions you would never be able to claim on it.

Yeh i see what you mean, last thing i want to do is have a huge bill from Audi for an engine rebuild. in sure a tad over 300 BHP is enough.
