I don't typically drive that hard so often forget all about this

But my car will drive well and accelerate hard but when pressing on and usually only when up on speed..

Drops in power for a moment like it's either starving of fuel when hard on it? The car will still happily get up to 100+ speeds if I slowly creep up on it in speed. But if I hard accelerate up the rev range and in speed is when these like pulses/flatspots reveal themselves

Is this potentially a symptom of a boost leak or a fuel issue?

Worth noting, my car just before purchasing had the front end up. And I have also replaced the fuel filter with genuine part less than 5,000 miles ago.

So whats the chances this is just a loose clamp and is there means to log the boost in VCDS to diagnose if it's either Fuel or Boost?

Thanks

Run vcds and see what pings up fault wise, then check requested and actual data for fuel pump etc and boost .
You may have a failing DV or a small leak with loss of pressure.
Possibly your HPFP is playing up or your LPFP , whatever the cause, real time data info in vcds will give you a more accurate idea.

No faults on VCDS (for now anyway) Rob

FYI, it's 2008 B7 2.0 TDI BRD

Going to give this a go

Video says

Channel 115-3 - requested boost
Channel 115-4 - actual boost

Best I could do tonight, limiting driving time and time to spend on graphs.

One 95mph pass

Certainly doesn't look right
