so i havent done much of a progress thread since ive been on here and ive been pretty quiet recently as ive been working hard getting these bits done.
pictures are in as close to old to new order as i could get them ..

So here she is , my first a3 just as i got it home.
It didnt take long to order the first box of goodies, coilovers and wheels, a days work began
And here was the result
And this is how it stayed for a few months whilst my wallet recovered after driving to Belgium for a show and a weekend away with some mates .
Some months went by and i got bored of it not being low enough and having way to much arch gap for my liking so i went and swapped the 17 inch porsche alloys for some 18 inch 3sdms.
It stayed like this for a while , but the lows wasnt enough , i had to go a step further .
A couple of close friends put me in touch with some of their good friends over at EMP Performance and it was decided the car was going on air . and so it began , no build pictures unfortunately as i was at work while the build was going on but heres the results and i love it
!!
3 Days later i picked her back up off the guys at EMP and i was amazed with the result .
they listened to what i needed and they followed suit.
They installed slam series struts with double bellow rear bags , V2 management , slim tank , single compressor which they kept hidden and a half sunk tank.
they removed the anti roll bar and gave it a chassis notch for some extra lows.
I will add pictures of the install when i take some.
A few weeks past and i couldnt stop looking at it , kept taking pictures and learning how to use the air ride.
A few more weeks went by and i was starting to tire of the 3SDM'S so i swapped them out with a mate for some 18 inch Mercedes AMG alloys , heres how i looked and still looks today !
and thats how shes sat now while my wallet and bank account recover again.
I am so pleased with the results and have so many more plans to carry out over the next few months , only going to a few shows this year but wont be showing the car that much.
Im fully aware air isnt everyones cup of tea but i like it and had to go for looks rather than speed because i would end up losing my licence , also my little boy loves it as he can climb in and out of the car on his own now
Anyway not much of a build but a mile difference since i bought it.
