The side roads in Edinburgh are awful, the main roads not much better. Lothian buses ceased services from about 7pm and I got one of the last buses back to south Edinburgh. Sitting on a bus that fishtails up a hill is quite disturbing. At least I'm on holiday this week. Might post a picture of our Navarra S3 tomorrow with its new white roof (all 6" of it).
I saw a next door neighbour do that to his wife's car about 15 years ago. She was not a happy camper when she saw all the scratches. As an aside, he was originally from Bearsden, enough said!
I’m well gutted mate, seriously. I love the snow! Looks unreal man haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I reckon we should get a picture from the other side of the car where there isn’t a snow drift jass Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ha ha ... it looks that way doesn't it - been cleared 5 times to achieve that though Mine is at night
I've got plenty of snow pics but gutted mines in the garage as I can't take part in the new competition! It been worse last two hours since the amber Warning started than it was during the red warning WTF! Had "hoped" to get back to work tomorrow but not convinced. Meant to be going by train to Liverpool early Saturday morning....... think that's in doubt now too.
My old fiesta was a panther black paint and I’d say it was more of a bluey purple than brown Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The S3 didn’t let me down this morning, had to take my girlfriend to her stables, 15 mile drive partly down the M5 which wasn’t at all safe. The Haldex reacts pretty quickly, could feel it finding grip. Shocked how people in real 4x4’s think they can still do the speed limit and slam on the anchors as if it were a nice sunny day.
Wish it was out here in the wilderness. Certainly less snow falling but the drifting and temperature are still an issue where I am. About to go and dig the driveway out. "I am just going outside and maybe some time" If I can make it to the main road I might drive to Liverpool in the morning and ditch the train tickets.
Couldn't agree more about the Haldex I thought exactly the same driving to work the last couple of mornings. You can feel it help push you along.

Really good isn’t it, a FWD mk 7 Golf couldn’t get up the farm lane minutes after me. The amount of idiots who are still breaking and cornering as normal staggers belief. I was over taken by a HGV on the M5 whilst I was doing 50 mph which was easily fast enough, on the northbound side was a jack knifed lorry...
It really is good. I know Haldex has its detractors but I have been very pleasantly surprised with how it has worked in this weather.
