Evening all,
so you may have read that I had the oil changed in my Gear Box and Diffs.

My car is a 2007 B7 3.0 Tdi Auto Quattro at 127k.

So its been two weeks since the oil change and 4 since I purchased the car (it has 3 months warranty, very specific about the warranty kicks in if the car can't be used etc)

I have done two long wish trips, (Plymouth to Gosport 188m each way) The revs seem to pulse up and down when accelerating and when slowing right down and to a stop. When the car has been stood for a pair of days it struggles to get in reverse and takes two attempts.

Having done some web research and watched a few videos on youtube, I believe its the TC. I have seen no fault codes that mention the TC. Is there a way to diagnose this and if its is any ideas on how I should approach the dealer:

As in I have had the oil change then noticed the pulsing, TBH I didn't see the pulsing before.

If you can get someone to scan it with VCDS there is a way to see if the TC is functioning properly....well I think there is....I'm sure I've seen it.

IIRC it means raising the car off the floor so that all 4 wheels can be rotated during the test....or is it just me going back to my Ford days with WDS.

well the garage did a cold and warm/hot check on the gearbox and all levels are correct, I have it booked in with a gearbox specialist next week, Just thinking on how to approach the garage that sold me the car, the warranty will cover the gearbox and engine, everything else is just a £200 from them towards it. Personally I think they should sort it as the car is 5 weeks old and I have done 1200 miles in it.
