ok just got the car there is no key in the its in my pocket but one back light is on and also one head light can someone pls tell me what the hell is going on as i am going to need a jump start tomorrow if i can not sovle this issue

your parking lights are on.
go into the car with the ignition off and put the indicator stalk back to the centre position (i.e. not indicating left or right)

Then take the owners manual out the folder and RTFM.

LOL! all VAG cars have the driving light function with the indicator stalk, my 1989 Mk2 Golf has it.
