So the piano black trim in the A7 isn't bad but you can see some light scratches under certain light. Whats the best product for cleaning these trims while resotring and moving any scratches?

Cheers

I could do with some help on this too, thanks.

no reason you can't use some paintwork polish to try and fill the scratches

i've found it hard to clean mine without ending up with a streaky/water marked finish

last week i tried G-Techniq G6 - http://gtechniq.com/products/auto/perfect/exterior/paint/g6-perfect-glass

comes up really nice, and has a nice glossy finish, and the anti-static helps keep it cleaner (and dust free) for longer

Thanks, Never really thought about some paint polish, this stuff just seems so delicate and anything could scratch and mess it up lol

That stuff sounds good and might help with the glass too :D cheers

yeah it's good on glass too! tbh i was cleaning my windscreen inside and just thought i'd give it a go!

@Chobbit - On my piano black plastic trims I use Auto Finesse Tripple
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/auto-finesse-tripple.html
Its not a permanent fix for the light swirling on, but it does the trick

The only way to get rid of the swirls is machine polish them, but the swirls only come back, so hence I use the AF Tripple

PS As per the link above, I find Tripple quite a versatile product TBH & at £8 delivered its top VFM too

Well I've ordered the G6 and waiting for it to arrive but i may get that finesse tripple and use that first, then use the G6 to clean it then add some of my autoglym gloss protection and finally another carnauba wax i have.

Hopefully that will protect it and i'll just keep topping up every now and then.

I have ordered the G6 as well and it should be in this week for me to try it out this weekend...
