Paint Code on VIN plate blank?!

Hi All,

I've got a nice little purple '06 2.0t Quattro and want to get some touch-in paint but just had a look at the VIN plate in the boot and it's blank! Any idea why this is? And can I get hold of the code another way?

Maybe it just faded. The boot sticker in mine was quite a bit faded and its '09. There should be the same thing on the first page of the service book if you have one.

Do you have the sticker on the boot or in the service book?
The paint code is shown there. Check mine for example. (White paint)

just use a vin decoder found on the web. audi world had one or just call dealer

Yeah it's the sticker in the boot that I'm talking about. Hopefully i can track it down in the service book

Been scouring the net and I actually reckon it's Venetian Violet Pearl. Limited edn colour.
