My engine management light has come on.
Audi have carried out diagnostic and found fault code p200200.
They want to replace EGR and regen the PCF for £1550 which is money I haven’t got.
is it worth just getting the PCF cleaned first and see if clears the fault? Or should I go all in from the start?
ideas welcomed

Do you have any updates on this issue as my car is doing the same. I can clear the DTC but it just fails again after a couple of days. I have performed a forced regen through VCDS but it only lasted about 2 weeks now the light is back. From my research it appears to be a known fault with the engine when the EGR cooler becomes blocked but triggers a DTC with DPF efficiency below threshold. From my understanding the best form of rectification is a replacement of EGR and cooler but this is expensive as you said above. Alternatively there is the option of EGR bypass through blanking off the cooler and having is mapped out of the ECU but i'm unsure as to whether the DPF also has to be removed/modified to avoid becoming blocked.

No this still isn’t resolved. It’s booked into a garage that specialises in DPF cleaning this week. Once I’ve had it done I’ll let you know if has worked.
