Oil pressure red warning- still on after sensor replacement

Hi all,

My 2.4 A4 Cab .. Bdv Engine is flagging the red oil can warning. Replaced sensor with decent one, error still there. Car has good oil.

VCDS lite shows no faults.

Dash cluster no longer shows date and I can't set the date and time the buttons no longer work .

I'm thinking cluster fault....

Any other suggestions before I sell it as spare or repair?

Have you actually tested the oil pressure with the engine running? I mean by using an external device? If the oil pump has failed, pressure will be minimal.

Hi Garrett, I haven't no. I don't have a gauge. Going to look at how accessible the oil pump is but I'm so fed up fixing things on this car I'm happy to let it go for spare or repair.

The oil pressure sensor is very hard to get at too...
