wheres the full mark on the a3 2.0 tdi dipstick ?

The top 'blob', about 1.5" up the stick.

Iv wondered this before...
I knew the top blob or ball was max but is it the top or bottom of this 'blob' considered max?

I think its not the best dipstick for checking oil level can be bad to see the level on it

Yep... couple of notches or a patterned area on a flat stick would be more definitive.

Bobar the dipsticks on Audis. Fancy picking black plastic when oil turns black especially in diesels.....makes for a inaccurate oil measurements. I despair with the amount of crap plastics modern car manufacturers are using. Utter rubbish.
