Oil and filter change.

So guys so i did a full service on my a3 8v 2.0 tdi this morning and wondered if some one could confirm a little something for me.

I was told and some forums suggest that it should take 4.7lt of oil well mine took 5lt castrol edge 5w30 can anyone confirm theres took the same ? oil level on dipstick is on max line about 1mm over max line now that its been sat a few hours ??

Think mine took around 5l before. Depends on how well its drained.

Not the same model as yours but when I've done oil changes on my car I've got more oil out than is quoted. I even informed Opie Oils so that now their service kits have enough oil. Previously they didn't supply enough oil.
