Facelift Oil and filter change

Cars done 900 since new is it necessary to get the oil/filter changed at 1k what diff does it make

No and none.

I change at 1500 miles, as I own the car and leaving oil in the crankcase for a year on a new engine goes against my better judgement, regardless of what others say. But, to each their own, as Audi recommend 1 year, mind you they only warranty the car for 3-4 years dependant on where you purchase it.
