Does anyone know where I can purchase a bracket to fit a shorter number plate to the front of the grill. I’m sure someone post something about it before but unfortunate can’t find it.

I want that too!

I had to cut a normal holder in half, following now.

And another here....

I have 330 x 111mm plates ordered and would like to find a backing plate.

Another member here, from Italy, purchased a backing plate from Amazon.it but it takes 360 x 114mm plates. It's only a few Euros but it doesn't accept a standard, UK plate size.

I enquired about getting 360mm plates made but the custom size meant it was going to be £120+.

I can’t remember where I saw it but someone posted a picture of a bracket where you push and twist two end bracket onto the grill then you just slide your plate in.

I bought them and it cost me £60 from Germany, worst thing I’ve bought in a while. Never been on the car and they only work with metal pressed plates, they need to be ultra thin to clip in (German plates).

That’s a shame they don’t work mate

They will work great with metal pressed plates if you want them, haha. Because if so you can buy mine :lmfao:

I had high hopes too but I just don’t like the pressed plates personally. I’ve had them previously and just gone off of them now, my new favourites are the 3D Gel plates and are 100% legal.

I will PM you some later with the plate uncovered. But I have some blurred plate photos on the spacers thread.

I’ve got a normal size rear plate and a short front plate for a 6-character plate. When I first put the front plate on it looked a bit strange but it’s grown on me and I love it!

Almost definitely don’t order them from that pleb!! He tells you after you’ve bought them that he only supplies the 3D printed twist part! You have to order the actual plate bracket off of Amazon yourself!! It’s a joke! Then when you complain he gives a load of rubbish about I’m the only customer who complains and I ruin the fun for everyone because he “charge extra now because I buy plate mounts not you”. I’d rather pay £5 extra and the whole thing be bought complete.

Then the next best bit, the plate clips are on amazon for about £3 but they are an amazon add on item meaning you have to spend a minimum of £20 on the site to order them :lmfao:

AVOID! Unless you have metal pressed plates and I’ve got a nice set of twist mounts available for sale.

Nope, it is a joke.

It’s great and it works but only wish pressed plates.
