New S5 owner

Yesterday I said goodbye to my 2012 A3 Sportback and welcomed a 2017 S5.

Over the moon with car (on the whole), such a massive step up from the 140hp Diesel in the A3. Not looking forward to the increase in my fuel bills though

Spec wise it’s standard S5 spec plus Mythos Black, Folding mirrors, carbon atlas trim, Matrix LED headlights, Virtual cockpit, Extended interior lightning, reversing camera, privacy glass, flat bottom wheel, and red brake calipers.

Looks great and great spec that mate! I've found the S5 to be surprisingly frugal fuel wise, all things considered
Sure you'll enjoy the car, and think you made the best choice between that and the A5 (I believe it was).

I averaged 22 mpg on the way to work this morning and 18 mpg on the way home

Yeah it was between this or the “35” A5, which I’m sure is a fabulous car but I’m really pleased with the decision I made

Jonnie just did something similar, changed to a black 2017 S5 almost identical to yours from a A5 2.7TDI, love it should have done it years ago!! Enjoy

Freshly detailed today by Fran of FM Detailing and absolutely over the moon with the results. Also managed to fit the carbon mirrors, which were an absolute pain and required a worrying amount of force to fit. Now to just get rid of the chrome...
