Need advice for S3 8L sidelights!

Hi guys and girls!

One of my sidelights on my S3 has blown. I think ive found a set on a website but wanted to double check that these are the right ones for my car. Mines a 2000 model. Thanks peeps!

Im pretty sure they are the right ones, however alot of people are now using LEDs, cheaper and last longer as well, will probably colour match as well to the Xenons.

Do a search alot of chat about it recently.

noticed last night that the light has come back on! It must be loose! Ive put the light casing out and pushed it in as hard as possible with the area i have to work in the engine bay which aint much! hopefully thats fixed it! If not then it's back to square 1!

i use LEDs. would not ever buy another "normal" bulb again.

to be honest mate I wouldn't use the incandescent bulbs, even if they do claim to be whiter.
go for LEDs.
They are a MUCH MUCH better match to the HIDs.

N e one got an idea of how to get the bulb out? Just tried and i just can't get it out! Twisting and pulling

twist and yank on the wires. they wont brake

Yep, you need to give the wire a tug, they should be ok and 'hopefully' wont break.

Expect some cut hands and some sweat and tears too!!!
