MY09 OR MY10 S3

could someone help me out please, i have a 2009 s3 sportback, date registered is 15.05.2009 trying to find out which version it is please.

Look at the chassis number. If it's WAUZZZ8P?9 it's MY2009 and if it's WAUZZZ8P?A then it's MY2010.

When was the cut over from 09 to 10? I suspect mines an MY09 too

MY2009, it's the 10th digit.

Mine is a 59 plate and the vin starts WAUZZZ8P3AA
It also has the mk2 rnse which makes it a MY10 I believe. It was also registered on 22/09/2009

It's actually the 10th digit that denotes the year

oops can't count, either way it's either gonna be 9 for MY09 or A for MY10
