evening all was on my way home from work and hit some traffic and my car was thudding evhttp://www.audi-sport.net/vb/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=17ery so often almost misfiring.so i pulled off and car seems to drive fine but when stationary it occurs again im thinking a coil pack is on its way out but ive had 1 or 2 fail and they didnt show any signs they just let go.i have recently fitted a b5 tip could the extra air folw/an old maf cause these problems?? any pointers would be appreciated as no access to vcds

Could be a few different things, have a look for any obvious split pipes also could be a dirty throttle body? Best to have it scanned with vcds. where abouts are you as there are plenty of vcds owners on here who are happy to help!

I'm having same issue, mines the brake vacuum pipe split. Replacement Hopefully turns up tomorrow or Monday
