Lock/Unlock Sound

Anyway to change the unlock/lock sound? Current stock one sounds like a microwave, wondering if you can change it to the horn maybe?

Hi all, Just though i'd post a little how to on making the stock alarm louder. Haven't seen a how to and though it might be useful. You need VCDS to complete this. Fist open VCDS and select the "Select Control Module" Then "46-Central Conv." Then "Adaption-10" Then click on the drop down...

Hi all,

I tried this,
mine was under ‘09 central electrics’ and not ‘46’

Changed the valve to 2 and the alarm volume is much better although the lock/unlock chirp is as before.

Are there now more options for the alarm now, as it says 10 tamper alarms?

I need to look again anyone have any insight?

Did you tinker around to find out if it can be changed? I have a feeling you can only adjust the volume.

I’m looking to do the same, are there any long coding to adjust the unlock/lock sound volume, or change the tone?

You can do this with a Carista OBD.

You can only enable and disable it, not tweak anything else.
