Leak from the water pump!

Hi guys i have recently noticed a coolant leak on my 2016 s3, took it to the local garage and they have said it's the water pump.

Has anyone else had the same problem and what price did you pay as they are saying around £1100 ?

There's a big thread on here about this, are you still in warranty if so Audi should do this for free.
