Just purchased a 2012 S-Line....

Hey all,

As per title. Left a deposit on a 2012 S-Line in Silver/Grey. FASH with 2 gearbox services done too. Car has done 82k.

It overwhelmed me with the amount of technology it has, but I love the head-up display it has. That is very cool.

It has DAB, Nav, HU Display, BOSE, & Tech Pack too

Now, it is my first 'proper premium' car, having nearly always bought 5 series models. This wipes the floor with them.

So with this in mind, I have a couple of questions:

*Navigation - Does it update automatically, or do I have to subscribe to a service?
*Sim Card slot - What is this for? I'll be using my phone for calls. The salesman didn't know what it was for either.
*Are there any tweaks I can do with it, using VCDS, that will customise it a bit better other than my MMI inputs?
*Steering wheel size - I want to purchase a Disclok. Do I need small or medium, does anyone know?

I know they have, but I have never driven one with a HUD. That was my point. It is a cool feature. Any other info you can provide re my thread?
