Is an OEM RS3 8P Grill a straight replacement onto a FL 8P S3?

It is, Ash fitted one to my facelift 58 plate S3.

Definitely a straight fit - did you not trust me?

You are running a cold air intake and not an OEM one? If OEM, you'll need to cut holes in the new grill to allow air to flow to the OEM intake
