Illumination Question Regarding Door Mirror Switch

Hey Guys,

Here's a random one - basically the door mirror switch on my S3 (like this one - AUDI S3 ELECTRIC MIRROR SWITCH 8D0959565B | eBay) on the driver side controls. Does the actual round circle bit light up in red along with the other switches? My electric windows toggle and lock symbol does but not the round toggle bit with L and R on it....

Just curious - may buy the above if it's supposed to.

Not too sure, haven't noticed before. Don't think it does as the knob just pulls off, think there just a plastic clilp under it.

Arr ok cheers - the L and R symbols don't illuminate for me either which are either side of it... Just thought it was odd - probably perfectly normal.

My Sport's the same as yours. No light on the dial.

Mine looks like this:

Don't think the L/R switch should light up as the L and R is painted on.
