Got myself a spanky new shiney toy called an Iphone, Cracking phone!

Since I've always had various nokia's all of which have never transfered the phonebook to the RNS-E unit I was hopping that the Iphone wouldn't have any trouble, Does it? . . . . . . Does it B llcks!:motz:

Could it be because I don't have a MFSW or the GSM/Phone prep system fitted to the 2004 car is too old? I'm sure I've read on a thread that the Iphone will intergrate so don't think it's that.

Anyone any ideas why it wont?

Only guaranteed on newer cars though

I retrofitted my RNS-e and OEM Bluetooth and my iPhone works a treat. Everything pairs and transfers as it should. I suspect you are correct in that the 2004 factory fit Bluetooth is likely to be version D which doesn't support many phones at all.

I put a version M in mine. Maybe you could keep you eye on eBay and look out for a later version?
