I am converting an Audi 100 Avant (1985) from petrol to diesel. I would like to use a 2.5 turbo diesel engine. I have access to a 2.5 turbo diesel from a Audi A6 (2002). I was wondering if I can remove throttle box and immobiliser unit from injection pump and use the old system of mechanical cable by replacing the top cap and throttle assembly on injection pump.
If anyone can give me any information on this I would really appreciate it.
