Help identifying this bodge!

Hi,

Engine is 1.8t 2001, can someone please tell me what part is all taped up?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Oil breather y pipe... they are common to split... I replaced mine when i first got it I'll see if I can find the part number

alot of people put on the Forge silicon pipe as a replacement

That is the breather for the cam cover.

You can do a pcv delete to get rid of a load of pipes and replace the old pipes

Ebay does them. Bout £35. Search for audi breather hose.

Mine has also perished, been told £55 fitted.
What does it do when split ?
