Heated rear Window

Hi Guys, bought my 2017 3 door S3 (8V) in March this year,, not really had to use the heated rear. However on inspection the element has been damaged looks like a dog has scratched it, i was thinking of getting repair paint or i have seen a second hand rear window on ebay but not sure how easy to fix ?? any thoughts

I had a Peugeot 205 in the past that had some lines on the heated rear window that didn’t work. I bought silver conductive paint from Halfords at the time. It worked great. Comes in a tiny tiny bottle. How many breaks are in the lines? How many lines don’t work?

Is one of the copper lines/connections broken? You can buy repair kits
