Good Price?

Hi All

I'm after an A1 for my partner.

Just seen an 2013 A1 1.4 TFSI S Line Sportback for sale from a private buyer for £12k.
It has 9.5k miles and is red with the gloss black roof, FASH, with a full set of summer tyres and winter tyres. It is apparently a 1 female owner car.

Is this a Good price?

Others on the net of the same age go for between £16-19k!!!

Personally, I would say that's too cheap, there's got to be something with it. I was looking at 1.4 S-Line 3 door, 2011, 30k, and that was £12k.

I might be wrong, maybe an online car place gives that as its current value and they've just gone with that. Personally, I would do a HPI check first, and if that checks out, contact the seller and ask if you can get an RAC inspection done on the vehicle. It about £160 but it's a very thorough check of the car (kind of like a more indepth MOT), and if they refuse you know there's something wrong and walk away.
