g65 sensor

I have a problem in that the signal wire has a constant 12 volt supply to it even when it is disconected and this is stopping the compressor from starting up.

I have checked all the codes etc and i keep getting the g65 fault (open or short to plus) new sensor fitted but still got the same error code,
