This is everything that came up (obviously unimportant stuff like alarm, brake light etc doesn't matter) My tuner has received this as well. Its definitely lost all its grunt and "stage 2"ness :p Idle can be extremely rough on some startups. Turbo makes noise but not power is being delivered. Sometimes induction and turbo sound is almost inaudible and boost is gone. But then sometimes on a start up the turbo will be loud and i'll get a nice bit of power around 2000rpm then other times absolutely nothing till 4000, she's very erratic more so than its ever been. Since owning it, Ive never had misfire codes/ecu communication issues.

The first day of driving after the tune it was hitting hard and definitely pulling like a different car, but now, just running awful. My tuner does have a lifetime warranty on all his tunes and tweaks and retunes for free until its steady and all a-ok. But I have to wait until he comes down to Melbourne from Sydney.

In the mean time, what are the thoughts from the big mappers here, are these codes common after a tune? Does it signify something is wrong with the tune, the software or the hardware? Or all 3? Was it not tuned properly? (as this guys is a custom tuner so its not a generic map) I am running ev14 injectors that were tuned for, could these be causing all my misfire issues if it wasn't tuned properly? Also have the "stage2" nkg plugs installed.

so misfires..
coils and plugs changed?

fuel pump healthy?

run better or worse with maf unplugged?

leaks?

Sorry, I always presume way to much in my posts. Coil packs are brand, brand new red packs, a month old. Plugs (I said in op) are new nkg's for stage 2. Not a single leak (pressure/smoke tested to 25psi) No MAF (new oem MAF, 3-4months old) code of any type, does this indicate that its likely not a MAF related issue?

Fuel pump can't say. How do I test for this? Also I rest my battery twice before this scan over 2-3days, either these codes didn't clear or they represented themselves again in a day or 2. Former or later more likely?

Something I find interesting. I presumed that having a self built stage 2 (purely from being a DIY everything guy and rather poor) you guys would maybe presume I'd definitely have covered all the very basic 1.8t 101's, Maf, plugs, coils, leaks etc before posting something like this? (I definitely don't mean this in a derogatory manner just if you see my signature and what I have built myself/have done to the car in general I think that you consider I would only post troublesome scans and help me's when I am truly stumped, such as if it were a software/tuner issue, or something very left wing besides the usuals)

And always with much love to you and tuffty who's advice I have basically read and used to build my whole car.

if clear code they return immediately?

unplug maf.. try and see if its "happier". New mafs also go wrong at times.

check earth on coil pack harness on rocker cover also. Between cyl 1,2 on ring tag

fuel pressure check would need a fuel pressure gauge splicing in the feed line to the rail and check its 3 bar with fpr vac off, and then it should follow boost, so 3bar + boost is what the rail pressure should rise to

I did fire it back up after the scan, gave it some guts (in neutral admittedly) but no codes came back hooray! Will check that earth tomorrow, I know the one. Hmmm....I may get a new new in tank pump anyway, did go ev14's instead of a 4bar to make sure there was no extra strain on the pump. But, could be.

Could the dying/dead battery have thrown the ECU comms codes? I did try to tick it over, interior/dash lights came on but the starter never started, could it have been during this time that the ECU received nothing and I created these 2 codes?

I'm still feeling a loss of tune power, definitely not what was there the day I picked it up. I'll try and scan again in the next day or 2 and see if anything's come back, in the meantime i'll check what you've mentioned.

By EV14's I assume Bosch 550's? was the map scaled correctly for these? checked block 032 for fuel trims?

yah tuned properly, need to get my VCDS back up and running :S laptop was stolen so so so unbelievably frustrating
