ECU swap for my '00 Audi S3

Hey guys, this is my 1st post here so I'd like to say hello to all audi entuziasts and none the less to all the members of the forum.

I've got a quick question for you, it's a little bit odd.

My recently bought Audi S3, APY engine, has an ECU from a Seat Leon Cupra '02. So my car doesn't work in the right parameters.

I just buought an ECU from an Audi TT, APX engine, ECU code (8L0 906 018 M). Has anyone any idea if it will work?

I don't think it will in standard form.. Not sure if APX is wideband.. Why don't you get an APY ecu? Or just get your car wideband converted and map it?

I have the car for about 3 months, so I don't have a clue about what I'm doing so any piece of advice will be appreciated!

From my knowledge and a quick google-ing I see that APX ecu is narrowband..

What ecu should I fit? I've found some OEM APY ecu's for sale in Germany, but are about 350-400 EUR!!!

Any suggestions are very much appreciated!

Will not work . You need some one to code yours immobiliser ECU to yours car immobiliser.
I don a engine swop from 1.8 to 1.8t and I also changed ECU unit and car dont start until someone will coded yours ecu and keys.

As above, it will work if it is narrowband, but will need an immob defeat.. fairly straight forward task from tuners etc.
