Different gearbox map to engine map?

Just wondering if anyone has a different gearbox map to their engine map or know if this is possible?

Currently running APR engine and gearbox maps but wanting to switch to custom engine map and wondered if it would be alright since it's obviously running on a seperate ECU

No no I know you can haha. I have one on the DSG box.

What I'm asking is can I have a separate maps for both dsg and engine but from different companies. For instance if I was to install APR software on Engine but Revo software on gearbox

Best to contact the company you are changing to and ask the question. No doubt the company you are changing from will say no!

I think you probably know the answer you will get from APR.

Worth saying that some custom tuners also do DSG mapping,and DSG-Dokter in Holland can do custom DSG mapping if your tuner can't,and they can tailor it to your requirements.

I had different map companies on my ed30, no problems to speak of. A lot of companies won't do the gearbox map unless you take their ecu map though. I only found one guy that would do it a few years back now.
